What these terms cover

These terms cover the website at logicalgamer.com, including the client login and account pages, the Ask Static chat, and the Donate page, plus our public game servers. By using them, you agree to these terms. Our voice and chat services also have their own community rules, which you'll find in our Discord, and Static has its own terms. How we handle your information is in our privacy policy.

Using the website

• Don't try to break into, overload, or get around the limits and security checks on the site or its forms.
• Don't use the contact form or the Ask Static chat to send spam, abuse or anything illegal.
• Don't scrape the site or its status feeds in a way that puts load on our servers.

Client accounts

Client accounts are the same accounts as our client panel (AMP). We create them for the communities we host, and server arrangements are agreed with each one individually.

• Keep your password (and your authenticator app, if you use one) to yourself. Don't share your account.
• You're responsible for what's done with your account, on this site and in the client panel.
• Tell us straight away through the contact form if you think someone else has used your account.
• We can suspend or remove an account, or a server, if these terms are broken or to protect our systems or other users.

Your servers, controls and console

From your account page you can start, stop and restart your servers and use their console. Those actions run as you in the client panel, with the same permissions you have there.

• Use them only for the servers that are yours to run, and only for running those game servers.
• No crypto mining, no attacking or scanning other systems, and nothing illegal on our hardware.
• Don't use commands or mods to get around the limits we've set for your server, or to affect other servers.
• Server actions and console commands are logged with your username (see the privacy policy).

Our game servers and community

On our public game servers and in our community spaces, be decent to other players. No cheating, harassment, hate, or sharing other people's personal information. Each server's own rules apply too. We can remove anyone who spoils it for everyone else.

Payments and donations

Payments aren't open yet. When they are, donations and server payments go through PayPal, and PayPal's own terms apply to the payment. Donations are always optional and help cover our running costs; they don't buy any service, priority or guarantee. Server payments are whatever you've agreed with us for your server. If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us and we'll sort it out.

No guarantees

We run everything on our own hardware and in our own time, and we do our best to keep it all online and backed up. Still, servers go down, updates break things, and data can be lost. Everything is provided as it is, and we can't guarantee it's always available, error free or backed up. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.

Static, our AI, can get things wrong. Treat its answers as a helpful starting point, not the final word.

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss from using, or not being able to use, the site, your account or our servers.

Games, mods and names

Games, mods and their content belong to their creators, and you're responsible for following their licences. The Logicalgamer name, logo and Glorp are ours.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Use the contact form.
